There isn't much to do once you're through security
One duty-free shop and two coffee shops make up most of what's available airside — plan to arrive with everything you need (snacks, chargers, reading material) rather than expecting to shop for it.
Getting into town is easier than it looks
Don't be put off by the airport's distance from Kutaisi (about 14 km) — the 24/7 shuttle bus costs just 5 GEL and takes about 35 minutes, so you don't need to arrange anything complicated in advance.
Skip the arrivals-hall taxi touts
If you want a taxi, head straight to the official FlyTaxi counter or a pre-booked transfer rather than accepting an offer from someone approaching you in the arrivals hall — it's the one real hassle worth avoiding at an otherwise easy, low-stress airport.
